Swim Spas Exercise Pools

Swimming is great exercise!

Swimming is an excellent way of keeping fit, having a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. Exercise and swimming in warm water has proved successful in treatment of the locomotive organs and pain in the muscles and joints. It brings considerable relief to people suffering from arthritis. Last but not least, swimming in warm water is suitable for both small children and parents, who do not need to worry that their children will get cold.

W-flow counter-current
Thanks to its strong counter-current, the Swim Spa can become a never-ending swimming pool. Optimally distributed W-flow counter-current in the Swim Spa is created by six Swim Jets. This counter-current enables regular swimming, uplifting the swimmer's body at the same time. The jets are adjustable in several ways; it is possible to swim against two, four or all six jets. The direction of each jet may be adjusted. Air can be drawn continuously to increase the pressure in the central pair of jets. Each jet is directional. The counter-current is driven by three Siemens pumps; the rate is up to 3,000 litres per minute! Only Swim Spa enables the whole body to swim against a strong “river” current.

Comfort and relaxation
You can access the spa via steps whose shape provides a cosy place for sitting and lying. Moreover, the steps are equipped with hydro-massage jets. Therefore Swim Spa provides enough possibilities for basic hydrotherapy.

Handrails
A handrail above the counter-current is an excellent tool for various aquatic exercises performed both in counter-current and still water. Swim Spa XL is even rimmed with shaped handrails which, together with the anti-slip finish of the floor, ensure safety of movement in the Swim Spa.

Indoors or Out?
The basic question is - indoors or outdoors? In spite of the fact that spas are designed for year-round use outdoors, indoor installations are still popular. However, if your garden and the immediate neighbourhood allow you, do not hesitate to place the spa outdoors. There is nothing like having an outdoor bath in every season… The most important thing is to place the spa so that you have a nice view from it. The spa should also be located in an easily accessible part of the house or garden to provide comfort throughout the year.

The decision on where to place the spa also depends on how often and for what specific purposes you plan to use the spa. In general, it seems ideal to separate the spa from anything that is connected to stress, and to create a separate pleasant environment, preferably with a nice view of green vegetation in a quiet part of your house or garden.

Outdoors is a natural spa environment and it is perfect to set the spa on a patio. For example, you can make the most out of landscape unevenness and set the spa into a slope. There is an enormous number of installation possibilities. Thanks to the thermal cover, unlike classic pools, you can have the spa surrounded by trees and other vegetation.

You will appreciate the outdoor location especially in our climatic conditions. The varied seasons of the year ensure diverse experiences. The winter bath in particular is fascinating. However, if you still want to be better protected against possible ups and downs of the weather or your neighbours' eyes, a roofed terrace, gazebo or pergola might be the right solution for you.

Uncovering the Swim Spa has been finally solved!
Swimspa CoverThe cover is one of the key elements that distinguishes the Swim Spa from common swimming pools. Nevertheless, the standard cover of the Swim Spa consists of several parts and it is quite demanding for one person to handle it. Moreover, the cover requires some space to be put away. Nevertheless, thanks to the mechanical Coverlifter and the new construction of the cover, you can uncover and cover it using one hand only. The mechanical lifter means an essential improvement and facilitation of operation and use of the Swim Spa.

Cover with special construction
Swimspa CoverThe new cover with lifting mechanism is characterized by the completely new construction. The cover is made of one piece that is divided lengthwise into two parts. Thus the connected boards create a fundamentally new concept of covering the Swim Spa.

Frames are made of light alloy profiles that guarantee high solidity and low weight, which is very important for easy manipulation and outstanding end-use properties. They are also provided with heat-insulating materials with a minimum heat conductivity coefficient which leads to minimisation of heat loss in large temperature drops.

Lifting mechanism
Swim spas CoverThe 6-part lifting mechanism, which is used for defined moving of covers, involves Stabilus power elements, which essentially facilitate easy, physically undemanding use. The lifting bar handrails including parts of the lifting mechanism are made of stainless steel. You can choose from eight colour finishes of vinyl.
